Parrot Feather Sweater Price Reduction!

So, how can you successfully use this technique at your house?

1. Purchase 3-6 Feather Sweaters in assorted colors.
2. Sew a few of your parrots favorite “mouthing or nibbler” items onto the area that covers the spot your bird is chewing itself on.  Key being textures that your parrot likes.  This process may require a bit of experimentation to find out what your parrot likes.
3. Once your parrot has become accustomed to picking at the nibbler items vs. its own feathers, get some white tube socks.  Stuff one with 2-3 of your parrots favorite treats.  Sew the same nibbler items on the outside of the sock.  Hang the sock in the bird cage.  Observe play for safety issues.  At this point, your parrot should be wearing a Feather Sweater that is NOT embellished with chewies and nibble toys.
4. As you notice your parrot spending more time on the sock vs. its own body, continue to provide new and interesting items to enrich and enhance foraging behaviors both inside and outside the sock.  If your parrot is continuing to nibble on the Feather Sweater, you may wish to spray the chest area of the feather sweater with Bitter Apple.  Or, consider some homeopathic parrot anxiety medications such as AviCalm.

Small Parrot Bird Trick Toys

There are two excellent IATA approved carriers that I’d recommend. It depends on whether the bird will travel in the aircraft cabin or in the cargo section of the plane.

For in cabin, my favorite bird carrier is the Cabin Kennel. This bird carrier fits under the seat of the plane. I recommend the Sky Kennel, 100 for cargo travel. Amazon Parrot Can't Shut Up!

Cheryl, of the UK, has reported that the family Amazon Parrot that was handed down from her great grandmother is driving her crazy. It is, essentially, a ghost whisperer! “He does all these voices of dead people from our family. The bird must be 80 – 90 years old and it remembers everybody that it has been around during that time,” she stated.

One night, when she forgot to cover the birds cage, she heard a strange voice saying, “I’m coming to get youuuuuuu.” It scared her so bad that she called the cops. And, then she realized that the bird was mimicking her dead Uncle Harry! He used to say that when she was very young before he’d pick her up. The police were not too happy when they arrived to check out the incident.

Amazon Parrots can be excellent talkers

Cheryl has realized that her great grandmother must have had a lot of boyfriends. Evidently, the parrot could be the voice over for porn movies as it tells the younger generation about granny’s romps. “I have to shut the door when any friends come over,” reports Cheryl.

I went there hoping to see the endangerd Puerto Rican Amazon Parrot.
